Carousel Charts, LLC started officially on the web on November 1, 2004. As a new cross stitch entity, Carousel Charts is working to create a line of cross stitch charts or patterns with special regard for customer color choice, material choice, subject variety and style preferences.

A core fundamental practice for Carousel Charts is to encourage awareness and action to benefit charitable entities while protecting creative copyright.

About the Artist:
JR Foutin completed her first cross stitch sampler as a pre-teen. Her mother helped her to notice if the back was well done, too.

Artwork by her beloved father shaped her life. A wealth of family heirloom needlework and a culture rich in crafts continue to influence designs that bear the Foutin signature.

JR Foutin holds a BFA from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, and MsEd from Bank Street College of Education and Parsons School of Design, New York, NY. She developed courses and taught fashion illustration undergraduate courses for 5 years. She lead a field study group to England, with the first stop at the Royal School of Needlework. Her figure and fashion illustrations are published in several Fairchild books. She also taught watercolor and drawing classes.

Recent efforts have given JR Foutin experience in computers for education and other commercial fields and includes work as an art director, webmaster, and in marketing communications.
